11th-grade students will be taking the SAT. The SAT is free of charge for all 11th-grade students. SAT scores count toward university, college, and trade school admissions. Scoring high on the SAT opens up more opportunities for students, such as program acceptance and scholarships. Additionally, the SAT contributes to the LBJ ECHS scorecard. These scores help determine funding and advanced course offerings for current and future students.

Preparing for the SAT:

  • Review SAT study materials on IXL, located on the AISD Student Portal.

  • Arrive by 8:30 AM.

  • Bring a fully charged and functioning AISD Chromebook.

  • Is your Chromebook not working? Visit the LBJ ECHS Library before school or during lunch for a replacement. Visiting the library requires approval from your current class period teacher. Please do this at least one day before the SAT—the sooner, the better.

Please Note:

  • The SAT is a timed test lasting 2 hours and 14 minutes.

  • The SAT includes a scheduled 10-minute break.

  • The SAT will start promptly. Once testing begins, there will be no late admissions.

  • Make-up Test Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
